Cubaris sp "Green Lazer"
With a pattern unlike almost any other Cubaris, Cubaris sp “Green Lazer” is an unusual tropical isopod prized for its pale cream base and bold charcoal markings from Thailand. Dark bands curve across each body segment, framing a vivid neon-green line that runs along the centre of the back. Under the right lighting, this narrow dorsal stripe appears almost illuminated, giving the species its distinctive “Green Lazer” name.
The green stripe running down the centre of the body can look far brighter under certain lighting, creating the appearance of a tiny laser beam cutting through the isopod’s dark, banded pattern
