Cryptophyllium limogesi "Thac Krong Kmar" Eggs – Captive-Bred & Fertilised

Cryptophyllium limogesi "Thac Krong Kmar" is a newly discovered leaf insect species from the tropical rainforests of southern Vietnam. This morphologically distinct species is one of the largest in culture—arguably the largest—rivaling the size of Pulchriphyllium giganteum "Tapah Hills".

Egg Information

  • When were the eggs laid?: Within the last 1–3 months. They are fertilised, meaning they will hatch into both males and females.
  • When will the eggs hatch?: Usually 6–10 months, but can be earlier (~5 months) depending on conditions.

How to Hatch

  • Temperature: Best kept at a consistent 23 °C, but a range of 20–28 °C is also suitable.
  • Lighting: A natural photoperiod (day-and-night light cycle) is optimal.
  • Humidity: Optimal humidity is 60–80%. Lightly spritz the egg container every other day to maintain this level.
