Phyllium letiranti "Tataba" Nymphs – Captive-Bred

Phyllium letiranti "Tataba" is a striking, relatively large leaf insect species native to the area surrounding Tataba, a village on Pulau Peleng in Indonesia. This species is notable for the wide range of vivid colours exhibited by females, including greens, browns, yellows, and oranges.

These nymphs are currently unsexed, but as they are from fertilized eggs, they can mature into males or females.

Care Information

• Size: L2/L3 nymphs (~20mm in length)
• Foodplant: Feeding well on bramble; also accepts raspberry and salal species
• Temperature: 20–26 °C. Room temperature is usually fine
• Humidity: 60–80% – mist enclosure daily or every other day
• Enclosure: Minimum 30 × 30 × 45 cm (W*L*H). Extra height preferred for moulting and climbing
